Close up view of workers building the pilot house of the SS Lansing. A group of well dressed men (possibly investors or supervisors) is gathered on the second level. Photograph most likely taken in early 1919 as the vessel was nearing completion. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
