Carpenters and other workers building the upper decks of the SS Lansing. Materials and some tools are visible in the foreground. This appears to be early 1919. Structure in the back may be the pilot house. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
