A view of "The Library" as it was decorated for the Designer's Show House in 1989. When the Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer house was constructed in 1852, this room served as Captain Palmer's bedroom. It was reimagined as a Victorian library by design firm Melvin Dwork, Inc of New York.
