View from the bridge of the SS Lansing, looking down the length of the upper decks, early 1919. Most of the work seems to be nearing completion, but some materials are still visible in the background. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
