View of the SS Lansing under construction at Stonington dock taken in the winter of 1918-1919. The image shows the interior of the ship, in winter, where a few workers are visible. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York. Scaffolding, braces and supports are visible, all covered in snow.
