Also includes photographs of the archaeological dig conducted at the site of the library in November 1996, the groundbreaking ceremony in May 1997 and construction process. The dig was led by CT State archaeologist, Nick Bellantoni. Students from Stonington schools including Dean's Mill, West Vine, West Broad Street, Pine Point and Pawcatuck Middle participated in the dig.Collection
