Close up of workers installing a roof over the pilot house of the SS Lansing. Photograph most likely taken in early 1919 as the vessel was nearing completion. The Lansing steamship was rebuilt by the Ship Construction and Trading Company, Inc. of Stonington for the Nafra Company of New York.
