Indenture-Deed - Goshen Friends Monthly Meeting 1817: "This Indenture made the eighteenth day of the seventh month in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen. Between Joshua Ashbridge of the township of Goshen in the County of Chester and State of Pennsylvania, only surviving trustee named in the hereinafter recited Indenture of the one part AND John Pratt of the township of Newtown in the county of Delaware and Thomas Massey, John Cox, George Cox, Jesse Williams and George Garrett of the township of Willistown in the County of Chester aforesaid all of the State aforesaid Members of Goshen Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends of the other part..."

The Local Interest Manuscript Collection (MSS 005) contains deeds of land and notable real estate of Chester County and surrounding townships, including The Goshen Friends Monthly Meeting indenture from 1817 as well as a brief on the history of the property. Also included are numerous vellum documents for a land seisin in Marple Township as well as various deeds for West Chester, Pennsylvania. Additionally, this collection also contains a comprehensive history and photographs of Rest Harrow House, which was formerly owned by the Cox family.
