This photograph collection primarily consists of the Hall and Williams family and their extended relations of Chester County, Pennsylvania. At some point in the 20th century the family and photographs extend to Meadville of Crawford County, Pennsylvania.

Context

Group photograph of (left to right) Flora DeEtta Hall (1858-1932), William Williams Jr. (1860-1935), Lulu Mabel Hall (1863-1937), and an unidentified man by Meadville, PA photographer A. R. Fowler. DeEtta and Mabel are sisters, cousins of William. The unidentified man could be Thomas H. Williams (1852-1903), William's brother.
