This scrapbook, compiled by Lillian M. Hoopes in the 1890s, contains newspaper clippings of death and funeral announcements, calling cards and marriage announcements with many local names, school report cards signed by her mother Phebe Hoopes, as well as local snippets and ephemera of the time. There are also some family photographs that have been pasted in. This scrapbook was originally a music notebook and the creator has pasted in the clippings and ephemera over top.Context
