Photograph of Gilbert and Glisson family The Glisson family is Elwood Glisson (1855-1938) and his wife Amy Ida Glisson (1857-1944). The Gilbert Family appears to be Lydia J. Cox Gilbert (1859-1942) and Edwin Gilbert (1857-1943) and possibly their children, Abigail W. Gilbert Wollaston (1883-1968) and Jessie Daniel Gilbert (1884-1966), based on cross-reference with 2023.006.061 "Edwin and Lydia Gilbert, Abbie Gilbert, Percy Wollaston, Elwood and Amy Ida Glisson, Ada Pearl." Lydia J. Cox Gilbert was a cousin of Amy Ida Williams Glisson through their shared grandparents Jesse Williams (1794-1872) and Sarah Hoopes (1791-1839). She and Edwin Gilbert have two known children, Abigail and Jesse. The Gilberts lived in London Grove Township, Chester County, PA, neighboring the Glissons in Chatham/West Marlborough.Collection
