National Society of the Children of the American Revolution. Whereas Gertrude A. J. Black, Emelie Knight Hoax, Joseph G. Merchant, E. Marguerite Bosworth, Marcia Champlin Hoax, Charles Erdix Round, Madeleine Cady, Marjorie Frances Hoax, Maxwell Mason Turner, John Pearce Child, Annie Watson Maxfield, Goodwin W. Turner, Louise Emily Church, Stanley Bowen Maxfield, Ethel Greene Warner, Benjamin A. Church, Alice Mifford Merchant, Lucius Talbot Warner, Mary Merchant DeWolf, Priscilla Alden Miller, Rebecca Althea Warner, Elizabeth Harris Greene, Helen Barbara Miller, Lydia Mae Warner, Dorothy Thompson....Vice President..... Who are approved Members of the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution, did under the authorization of the National Board of Management on the Third day of February 1917 organize a local Society of the Children of the American Revolution in the City of Warren State of Rhode Island to be known as the [?] Nathan Miller Society; and whereas the following officers of said Society have been selected, to wit: Emily L. Church as President, Ethel G. Warner as Secretary, Lucius Talbot Warner as Registrar, Gertrude A.J. Black as Treasurer, Maxwell M. Turner as Color Bearer, Elizabeth H. Greene as Historian. Now therefore the said members, and their successors and associates, are hereby declared to be a regularly organized local Society of the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution, to be known as the [?] Nathan Miller Society; and as such are entitled to all the privileges, and subject to all the limitations of the Constitution and By-Laws of the National Society.
