Know all men by these presents that we Benjamin Cole the 2nd of Swansey [Swansea] in the county of Bristol in the Provence of the Masachusetts [Massachusetts] Bay Gentelman and Rebeckah my wife for and in consideration of the sum of twenty two pounds eighteen shillings paid by Benjamin Barton and Richard Barton both of Warren in the County of Bristol in the Colony of Rhode Island yeoman we have remised released and forever quit all such right title clame or demand which we had now have or ought to have in or to the estate both real and personal of our honoured father Captain Benjamin Barton late of Warren deceased died leased of to them said Benjamin Barton and Richard Barton their heirs and assigns forever so that neither we the said Benjamin Cole and Rebeckah my wife our heirs executors or administrators nor any person or persons claming by or under us shall have any right title or interest in or to said premises but shall be forever excluded and bared from the same. In witness whereof we have hereunto sett our hands and seals this seventh day of June A.D. 1773
