Context

Almost certainly Wilbur Allison Kolb (1896-1981) originally of Detour, son of Jesse Wilbur Kolb and Cora Myrtle Haugh Kolb. Little is known about the photographer Haugh except that he operated studio in York Road (Keymar), MD between 1891 and 1901. Perhaps Wilbur is related to the photographer through his mother. This Photograph was found in a large collection of unidentified photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries. This photograph is part of a subset of photographs mostly by Haugh, mostly of Miller Family members, and inscribed with the same handwriting approx. period to the creation of the images.
