This Bible was printed by T. S. Manning, Philadelphia, date unknown. In 1804 the owner was Daniel Zacharias who in 1810 married Susanna Sherman, daughter of Conrad Sherman. The Reverend Lewis L. Kinch performed the ceremony on January 16, 1810. Four family record pages 677-680 provide numerous entries of birth, marriages and deaths in the Zacharias and Sherman families. Two pages of handwritten extracts from the HISTORY OF THE LEITERSBURG DISTRICT by Herbert C. Ball, 1896 describe the ownership Leiter Mill property from 1775 to 1862. These pages are inserted in the Bible. Decent condition, only missing initial pages with publication and translation information.
