Print, photographic. Gelatin print, 10'' x 8'', Billboard, Taneytown, painted by Roy Strine, c. 1920. At the left side of the photo there is a brick building with a painting on the side of it. The painting is of a billboard that reads "Motter & Leister Serves - Zile's Ice Cream manufactured by Arthur M. Zile Westminster, Md." On the left side of the billboard there is an ice cream sundae with chocolate and a cherry on top. On the right side there are four different ice cream cones in a holder. At the top of the billboard there is a separate box that reads "Strine" Next to the building with the painting is the firehouse, Carroll Hotel is next, then there are several more houses and shops that continue down the road. A Model T can be seen further down the road on the left side. Power lines extend down the left side of the street as well. On the right side of the street there is a number of wagons and Model T's parked along the curb with a man standing on the sidewalk wearing a white shirt. 8" x 10"Acquisition
