Description

Print, photographic. Calvary Church, Woodbine. B/W copy photo of a small clapboard church in a wooded area. There is a hitching post out front of the church and there is a brown horse tied up there. The church itself has a stone foundation. There is a small single set of stairs, five steps in all, leading up to the front doors. The doors are double doors and have a window above them as well as an overhang that has a white design in the front. There are gothic arch windows on either side of the doors made of what looks to be stained glass. There is a singlular circular window above the doors right below the apex of the roof. Along the roofline there is decorative dental work. This window has an intricate design in it. There is a steeple with a belltower at the front center of the roof. The steeple is layered in multicolors and there is no bell in the space where one should be located. There are three visible windows along the left side of the church. The very top of a chimney is visible above the back left corner. A picket fence surrounds the church yard and can be seen behind the church and then again in the foreground left corner. Another clapboard building is visible behind the church. It has two stories with a window on the front left and a door to the front right with two windows on the second floor. On back in blue ink "Calvary Woodbine." There is a rectangular white label in the center that reads in red ink "Customer Property Order#" The order number is then written in pencil "2524 BA035". 10" x 8"
