Print, photographic. Carroll County Semi-Centennial Parade. April 11, 1887. B/W photo. The scene is very busy. There are many horse drawn carriages and wagons in the street. In the center of the streetis a cabin being pulled on a wagon by two horses with a sign on the front "Office 20 West Main St." Written along the side above the two windows of the cabin "Building Material." There are many more lined up in the parade behind the cabin float with banners and floats. There are people everywhere and the buildings are decorated with bunting. There is an American flag hanging over the street on wires. The photo mounted on tan mat board. On back in black ink "Elizabeth Billingslea donor. Main St. looking east 14"; in blue ink "Westminster Hardware (Westminster)"; in pencil "April 11, 1887". Overall size 5.25" x 8.5"; photo 4.75" x 7.5"Acquisition
