Shellman Handwritten on reverse in ink are identifications: Miss Jane(?) Jones (Balt.), Miss Annie Jones (unknown location), Miss ___ Shriver (Westminster), Jessie Gorsuch (Westminster), Richard B. Hollingsworth (Baltimore) and Miss A___ B. Jones (Baltimore). Identifications are difficult to decipher. Some individuals seated and some standing. All dressed in clothing for outdoors. Backdrop is an outdoor scene. Several women hold croquet mallets. 4" x 2.5". 1870.
