Quilt. Pieced quilt constructed of four rows of three large blocks each. Each block is pieced to form triangles at each corner; white piece at center of each block has an angel embroidered in gold. Fabric is cotton in an assortment of prints including hearts, flowers, snowmen and cowboy boots and stripes and plaids in a variety of colors. Two pieces are printed with an image of New York City showing the World Trade Center towers and the Statue of Liberty. One piece embroidered "The Angels Among Us"; another embroidered "In Remembrance of the New York City Skyline destroyed September 11, 2001". Backing is single piece of white cotton. Top tufted to back with blue yarn; no edging. Label stitched to back reads "High school students, senior citizens, and other volunteers came together to create this 'Angels Among Us' quilt in honor of The Shepherd's Staff for their tenth anniversary, celebration November twelfth two thousand one." 85"h x 70"w.Acquisition
