Toy, bell. A-E. Cast iron police wagon, horses, and policeman toy, with all elements in place, 8.5" x 18" x 4.5". Wagon is rectangular with box in front for driver. Rails painted brown to resemble brass surround the top of the wagon. The body is painted black with the cast words on the side "POLICE PATROL". Inside the wagon is a bench cast to look padded and painted red. There are six holes along the bench in which pegged policeman figures sit. The box also has a hole and corresponding pegged policeman figure. Three cast figures have been retained. They were cast with rounded helmets/hats and uniforms with a single row of buttons in front. The uniform is painted blue, ornamented with light brown for metallic elements, and facial features are also painted. A brass bell is mounted underneath the front wheels of the wagon. Two hobby horses are attached at the front, suspended above two small wheels. One is painted black, the other white, and both are ornamented with light brown to simulate leather and brass fittings.
