Description

Quilt. Pieced friendship quilt. 84" x 85". Composed of 16 blocks, each 17" x16"; blocks are white, bordered by blue; each block contains 5 pinwheels embroidered in blue with names embroidered along the arms of the wheels. Border is white with diamond quilting. Binding by turning top over back and handstitching. Backing is white. All cotton. Dated 1926.
