Chair, rocking. 45"h x 22"w x 31"d. Ladderback, 4 rungs, acorn finials sit on stiles, splint seat. S-curve arms with rounded knukles. Pairs of stretchers on front and sides, one stretcher with added metal support on back.

Note

Deed of gift reads "rocking chair belonged to William Henry Rinehart's father. Given in the names of Elisabeth and Mary Louise Rinehart, nieces of WHR." Note on accession card reads "Came from the Rinehart Homestead in Union Bridge. It was owned and used by William Henry Rinehart's Father. It is given to the Historical Society in memory of Elisabeth and Mary Louise Rinehart, children of Isreal Clay Rinehart, brother of WHR."
