Coverlet. Andrew Kump. Jacquard; warp of natural cotton; weft of wool. Two pieces, seamed down center. Field has 8-point star and double rose pattern; wide vine and leaf border. Maker's block reads "ANDREW KUMP DAMASK COVERLET MANUFACTURER HANOVER YORK COUNTY PA 1853." Owner's name "P. STAUFFER."
