Coverlet. Andrew Kump. Jacquard; warp of natural and blue cotton; weft of natural cotton with blue and rose wool. Two pieces, seamed down center. Lilly and star pattern on field with double star border. Maker's block reads "ANDREW KUMP HANOVER 1836." Owner's block reads "L. NICODEMUS." Original deed of gift reads "Andrew Kump coverlet made in 1836 gift of Miss Elizabeth Deeble." 90" x 76".
