Uniform. Child’s, from the Uniform Rank, Knights of Pythias, drum and bugle corps, 1930s. Wool. A: sweater, red wool with rounded neckline, banded cuffs and hem; diamond-shaped emblem stitched to chest. Top half of emblem is light blue with white llly at center and initials J H L at corners; bottom half is divided in thirds; upper proper right is dark blue with gold F, proper left is yellow with gold C, bottom is red with gold B. Label sewn into back of neckline reads "U.S. KNITWEAR COMPANY 100% ALL WOOL BALTIMORE, MD." B: pants; royal blue with .5: red stripe down outside of each leg; 6-button fly; has belt loops and buttons for suspenders on insides of waistband. C: cape; red wool with gold lining; gold piping around collar; hook and eye closure at throat; pair of gold buttons flank opening; buttons decorated with lyre design. Label at back of neckline reads "THE PETTIBONE BROS M'FG. CO. CINCINNATI, O." Label stitched inside back reads "The Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co. Military and Uniform Tailors Cincinnati, Ohio NAME Carl C.
