Description

Uniform. Westminster Band, c. 1935. A: jacket; four button (lyre pattern), blue wool with 7/16" wide yellow tape at cuffs; circular band patch on left shoulder; three circular star patches on left cuff (each represents 5 years membership); yellow aiguillette. B: pants; gay wool with 1" wide yellow tape on outseams. "W. Myers" penned on lining. C: cap; gray wool with blue band, lyre pattern side buttons, gold lace chin strap, black leather visor, stamped brass wreath and lyre insignia. D: tie; black wool E: belt; "Sam Brown" style, white leather. A,B, and C are marked "Pettibone Bros., Cincinnati, Ohio; D and E are probably same company.
