General Notes

Note

The church building was completed in 1892, replacing the previous chapel from 1855 which was damaged in a storm in 1891. The Deer Park UMC congregation moved to a new sanctuary across the road in 1995, but this building still stands at 2205 Sykesville Road. As of 2024 it is occupied by The Maryland Store selling Maryland-themed gifts and merchandise.
