Print, photographic. B/W photo mounted on a black board. The photo shows the front of a three story mill. The first two floors are fieldstone that has been whitewashed. Along the bottom and right side the whitewash is worn away. The third floor is made up of wooden planks and there is a vent to the right of the door. All three floors have open doors in the center with a window on either side. At the top of the gabled roof the roof extends out over the doors and has a rope hanging from it. To the right of the second floor door there is a poster. It is very hard to read but the bottom of it reads "The Headquarters for Bargains." The words above and the picture it shows are impossible to see. Below the poster painted onto the whitewash is "[Bran for sale here at $130 per hundred pounds]" To the right of the mill is a man in light colored clothing and a hat. A small black cat is standing below the first floor window. A brick building with a white cupola can be seen in the background to the left of the mill. Photo and Mat: 5.25" x 6.25" Photo: 3.5" x 4.75"
