Description

Black and white photographs (two- identical) of Falls at the Elms in Finksburg. The photograph features the front façade of the house with various trees and shrubs in front of it. The photographs are mounted on a white sheet of paper above a typed inscription. The overall measures are 8.5"x 11.00". The photographs each measure 3.5"x 4.75".

__ __The inscription on the front reads, "The Elms, Falls, Built about 1775-1780?, size 225 acres, owners, Francis Scott Key Jr. 1835-1850. Miss Francis Perine Gray- Fine colonial mansion of field stone, a two an half storu house with dorner windows. Woodwork and iron all handwrought. Previously, the main road passed infront of house. Miss Gray, Maryland Monthly Mag. Dec. 1906".
