Notes

The card accompanying the photograph reads, "Glenburn, near Taneytown. Original owner- Dr. Clotworthy Birnie. Built about 1840, wing added by last owner. Present owner- Mr. Edward Heidt- was used as a boys school, and was on the site of an old log house. The house was on a knoll above present camp. The brick part of the house is part of the school. The western wing was added recently. Presently (1973) owned by Chester Neal family.

General Notes

Note

The nature of the card accompanying the photography strongly suggests the files of Dr. Arthur Tracey, though the hand-written line would have been written afterward.
