They had 6 children: David H. [b. 14 June 1829], George H. [b.6 May 1831], Johannes [b. 14 February 1832], Jacob Henry [b. 17 May 1833 - d. 23 Novbember 1863], Jeremiah [b. 10 September 1835 - d. 11 September 1865], and Mary Ann [b. 19 December 1838 - b. 13 December 1920]. Mary Ann married Jacob Schaeffer. Mary Ann and Jacob were parents to John David Schaeffer, born 1861. John David married Gertrude Brown and their daughter Lela was born in 1893.
