Print, photographic. B/W photo of the George R. Grumbine store at the Forks of West Main Street and Pennsylvania Ave., Westmister. The store is a frame building with an awning over the front door. Signs on the building read Geo. R. Grumbine Groceries and Provisions. There is a freight wagon, pulled by a single white horse, parked in front of the store. Two men are standing at the back of the wagon. Mounted on black mat board. Embossed below image: "Mitchell's Art Gallery Westminster, Md." Overall size 10" x 12"; image size 6" x 8"

Part of a collection of photos given to donor by Mrs. McCaffrey who found them in the family house on Liberty Street, Westminster, when the house was sold in 2008. Most of the images were unidentified and were not retained by HSCC. Donor never returned deed of gift but signed Temporary Deposit Receipt is on file.
