Description

Mailbag. Brown leather, long round bag. Riveted bottom. Triangular metal escutcheon riveted to top with triangular padlock and key, holds top of bag closed. Thin leather strap, attached approximately 1/3 down from padlock. Just above strap, handwritten "Pat. Aug. 8, 1899." Remains of leather handles at top and bottom. 26"h x 12.5"w x 1"d.
