Roswell C. Rohrbaugh, born on October 6, 1890, was from Millers in Carroll County. He served in Company D, 311 Machine Gun Battalion, 79th Division, American Expeditionary Forces during World War I. Mr. Rohrbaugh entered service on May 27, 1918, served overseas from July 8, 1918 to May 25, 1919, and received an honorable discharge on June 3, 1919. He served in the Avocourt and Troyon Sectors and the Meuse-Argonne Offensive.
