Medal, fraternal. Grand Army of the Republic. Bronze 5-poimted star; front marked "GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC 1861 VETERAN 1866." Reverse embossed with symbols for the Union army corps. Suspended from small grosgrain American flag. Flag suspended from pin in the shape of a spread-winged eagle perched on crossed cannons. 3.25"h x 1.75"w.
