Medal, military. WWI, French, Croix de Guerre. Olive green grosgrain ribbon with thin vertical red stripes; two small bronze stars pinned down center of ribbon. Suspended from ribbon is bronze Maltese cross with crossed swords; embossed "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE" on front; reverse embossed "1914 1916." 4.25"h x 1.5"w.
