Portrait. Pencil and ink drawing on paper. Profile view of a young woman from the waist up with hair tied in updo on nape of neck on background with shading around lower third. Subject is wearing a long pendant earring and necklace accented with gold ink. Wearing black dress with puffed sleeves and lace collar with white ink detail. Oval mat with some yellowing. Back of drawing has handwritten note in pencil "Miss Sarah Ann Noel Jakins of (illegible) married December Hahn (?) of Wesminster, Maryland. Drawing protected between layers of mylar in between a white foam frame loosely connected together. Back inscription visible through frame. Frame: 5" L x 3 3/4" W" x 1/2" D.
