Purse. c. 1900, maker unknown. Burgundy leather and velvet clamshell style purse with removeable hand mirror in interior pocket and metal frame. Front of purse has burgundy alligator skin leather pattern, with red velvet handle and back. Velvet back includes an additional pocket with folded leather detail. Thin sheer black satin gloves found inside purse, removed to storage (2025.010.022). Fair condition, velvet handle shows wear and some discoloration. 8" x 3" x 6". Mirror (b) measures 4 1/4" x 1 1/2".Acquisition
