Description

Quilt. Pieced quilt. 72" x 85". Constructed of 28 13" blocks of green and brown prints. Border is 3" print chintz. Binding is .25", print, sewn on from back to front. Backing is seamed cotton print. Thick batting. Mid-19th century.

Old Collection records read- "green and brown quilt lined with a rose-bordered chintz, came from Dr. Fox's great grandmother Beulah Clark Weaver and was relined in Uniontown in the early 1900s.
