Quilt. Log cabin design pieced quilt. 71" x 72.5". Composed of 81 pieced blocks, each 7"; done in black, rust, burgundy, gray, navy, tan and plaid cotton and wool. Both hand and machine stitched. Border is strip- quilted on a diagonal. 3 edges have bias cut black wool, handstitched; other edge has one-grain cut green wool, handstitched. Backing is light blue/gray checked cotton flannel, machine stitched to front. 1880.Context
