Sampler. Pictorial sampler. Natural linen with cross stitching in red, blue, green, yellow, white, brown and pink. Main design is a 3-bay brick house with 2 chimneys, 2 trees, a bird flying over the roof, fence around yard; in yard are 3 female figures, 2 dogs and 4 chickens. Strawberry border. Signed "Mary Louisa Horn's Work finished Jany 30 1846". 15.25" x 17.875"
