She is seated in a wicker chair; on a table next to her is the Clabaugh Memorial Cup [see 94.7.1]; her dog Jack is laying on a rug next to the chair. She is wearing a white dress with dark stockings. 3.75" x 4.5". C.1910. [94.7.455-94.7.458 appear to have been taken at the same time.]

Thelma Walden (Littlefield) Shriner [b. 30 October 1895 – d. 12 April 1994] was the daughter of Frederick and Minnie (Walden) Littlefield. Her grandfather, Robert Wyndham Walden, owned the Bowling Brook stables in Middleburg. Her father, Frederick Littlefield, was one of the jockeys at Bowling Brook. She married Francis Earle Shriner [b. 11 September 1890 – d. 29 October 1951] in 1920. They had no children. Earle is buried in the Pipe Creek Brethren Cemetery in Union Bridge. Thelma has markers there and in the Middleburg Methodist Church Cemetery.
