Rev. Stephen Traver was pastor of the church from 1916 - 1920. "Harvest Home" was a Pennsylvania German tradition to celebrate the end of the harvest season. The church was decorated with an assortment of foods. In the early years, the pastor received the food as part of his pay. In later years, the food was donated to needy families or groups.
