Description

Toy, wind-up. Painted sheet metal, 4"h x 5"w x 2.75"d. Horseless carriage; body resembles old brougham with red body and black top; driver sits in front in open box; driver dressed in white pants, blue jacket and black top hat. Wheels are white with yellow spokes. Winding key in proper right side. Marked on back "D-R- PATENT ENGL PATENT D-R-G-M"; stamped inside carriage "MADE IN GERMANY." On side is mark of a bell with the initials EPL intertwined at center and "MARKE" above it; mark is for Lehmann of Brandenburg, Germany. C. 1910.
