Note
Built before 1812, the Union Meeting House was located in the Westminster Cemetery near the Church Street entrance. It served as a multi-denominational house of worship through the early 19th century and a community hub for secular activities and events. During the Gettysburg Campaign of the Civil War, the building served as a temporary hospital for wounded from both sides. After the war the building fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1891 as an unsightly safety hazard.
