Robert Jeter Walden [b. 10 May 1870 – d. 19 July 1951] was the son of Robert Wyndham Walden [b. August 2, 1843 – d. April 28, 1905] and Caroline E. Bennett [b. August 7, 1844 – d. June 10, 1925]. Like his father, he was a trainer of thoroughbred racehorses. In 1899, he won the Kentucky Derby with the colt, Manuel. He took over the management of Bowling Brook after his mother’s death.
