Note

Roy Nevin Strine (b. 1886), the father of the donor, was a band leader of several boy bands in the area in the 1930s-40s, including the Mt. Airy Boys Band, Westminster Boys Band, Pleasant Valley Boys Band, New Windsor Boys Band, and the Western Maryland College ROTC Band. He was a member of the Westminster Municipal Band. Roy Strine also was a sign and mural painter in Carroll County.
