B/W photo.Taken on the boardwalk in front of the Hastings Hotel. A large group iin band uniforms and holding instruments is seated surrounding a band leader on a boardwalk in front of a large hotel. To the back one of the men is leaning on a drum that reads "The Westminster Band, Inc. Westminster, Md." There are banners in red, white, and blue hanging from the second level balcony as well as one that reads "Welcome" There are overhangs all along the edges of the balcony. Another building can be seen to the left of the group and the hotel. 8" x 10"

There is a piece of paper with this information typed on it "The Westminster Band in concert on the boardwalk in front of the Hastings Hotel, Ocean City, Maryland while attending the Md. State Fireman's Convention in June 1931. The Band won first prize of $100 for The Best Band in the Parade.
