Context

The Decorators' Show House was a fundraising event put on by and for the Park Ridge School for Girls, which was a private charitable alternate education program for girl between the ages of twelve to eighteen. The interior of the houses were decorated by members of the American Institute of Interior Design. At the time of the house's showing, it was owned by Mr. and Mrs. George Derderian.
